OPR offers consulting services to owners of small O & P facilities who need assistance with the preparation for accreditation by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. and other agencies which may require a corporate compliance program. OPR can provide assistance in developing policy and procedures, medical records, and patient chart documentation standards. OPR is also able to assist with quality assessment reporting, patient education forms, the development of a mission statement, goals and objectives, and other organizational functions involved in managing an orthotic and prosthetic practice.
As part of this service, OPR is able to:
- perform mock surveys of facilities in preparation for ABC accreditation.
- provide an evaluation of the feasibility of establishing a prosthetic and/or orthotic program.
- provide an evaluation of an existing prosthetic and/or orthotic program or clinical practice.
- provide an evaluation of physician referrals, volume of patients, and revenue impact.
- provide an evaluation which includes re-engineering, organizational restructuring, quality assurance activities, facility and lab layout, and staffing needs.
